If they are testing internally, read receipts won't trigger if the recipient opens from the same IP. This is to avoid false read receipts when viewing emails in the sent items folder.
15.If your sending emails internally using the same IP address, it won’t pick up read receipts?
TRACKetc ignores reads from the same IP address that the mail item is sent from to avoid false reads when you view items in your sent items folder. This means that if you send an email to a colleague in the same building (connection) then the read receipts wont be triggered.
17.Does the email tracker work on group emails?
Yes, the email tracker will individually track when each person has opened the email.
